Today I got back from China and all I can say is… Wowowow, deliciatta!

No but seriously all I can say is, WTF China is amazing. Or actually all I can say is my life is complete.

Idk what to say. Nothing I can say will give justice to the trip we did. Seriously I am just thinking about everything we did and everything we saw and I can barely breath I am so in awe. It’s crazy how amazing it was. So many good memories that I will never forget. I went with three amazing human beings, two Dutch; Jorien and Rens, and one Belgian; Julien, and I couldn’t have asked for a better time.

We started our trip in Yangshuo, then went to Guilin, then Zhangjiajie and finished with Beijing. I will make a post for each of the places, because there is so much to say about them all, but I’m not sure when I will have time for that so I just wanted to write a small post now.

I can’t believe the trip is already over. It was 10 days and it flew by so quickly it felt like when we were walking back to the residence, it was only two seconds ago that we were all together walking in the other direction starting off our trip. I would really recommend taking more than 10 days to do this kind of trip. I have zero complaints, it was perfect, but more time would have been nice because there is SO much to see.

A couple of years ago if you would’ve told me I would be travelling in China I would have probably laughed in your face but really the beauty in China is crazy. I am definitely going back. I even want to go back to the places I just been. They were amazing. Actually there is no way that I am not going back. I must!

Alright so I guess I will give a tiny description of what we did in each place…

In Yangshuo, we rented electric scooters and drove around the country side which is indescribably beautiful. I couldn’t stop video tapping and taking pictures even though I was putting myself in danger while trying to do this while riding a scooter because it was too amazing. I felt like I was in a fairy land.

In Guilin we visited the city, took a bamboo raft down a river for sunset, had a local bring us to good Chinese restaurant, and we visited Longji rice terraces, which were beautiful.

In Zhangjiajie we visited the park, obviously. I think it is the most amazing places I’ve ever seen and will probably ever see. Just crazy. Avatar was filmed here, and really I can’t even explain it, you just need to go there. Yes fly to China and go to Zhangjiajie to see for yourself.

In Beijing we saw the Forbidden City, Tienanmen Square, the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong and of course, the Great Wall of China. We went to Jinshangling which isn’t very touristy, we were basically the only people on the Wall. It’s also half restored and half un-restored which was extremely cool. I literally can’t describe it. It’s too good for words.

Anyways more-detailed posts will come shortly or maybe not shortly actually. I’m not sure! I have three weeks left in Hong Kong so I want to make them count while still doing well in school so I need to concentrate on things other than social media! ;)

All I can say is… Life is good. Seriously good. I will actually cherish these memories with me for my whole life because I don’t think there was one moment during that trip that I wasn’t smiling. I am so lucky AH!
